Happy Earth Day, everyone! We like to use this holiday to think about how friendly we are to Mother Earth, and in what ways we can improve. This year, we’re inviting you to do the same, whether that means recycling more often, or starting Meatless Mondays. Luckily, in terms of your dishes, you’re already living a greener life by eating off Fiesta Dinnerware! Here’s why:
- Reuse By eating off ceramic dinnerware, you are cutting down on the waste that comes from paper or plastic plates and bowls. Our dinnerware promotes reusability (because no one’s eating off one of our plates and then throwing it away!), which is good for the earth.
- Reduce We frequently hear from customers that they’ve inherited their Fiesta Dinnerware from parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents! That’s because our dishes are extremely durable, which is good for your wallet and good for the earth. When you don’t have to buy replacements for broken dishes every few years (which is typically the case with cheaper dinnerware), you are reducing waste.
- Made in USA Our ceramic products are 100% made in America, which means that your dishes come right from our West Virginia factory, not halfway around the world. By making our dishes here, we are contributing to far less fossil fuel burning, and greenhouse gas emissions than products coming from across the ocean.
- Our Factory We have taken many steps to ensure our factory is as environmentally friendly as possible! To see our pledges to our resources and our environment, check out the sustainability page on our website.
